FAQ and information on inpatient drug rehab servicesFor many individuals, the prospect of entering a residential substance abuse treatment center can be overwhelming.  Whether this is your first time coming to rehab or not, there are a variety of questions you may have that pertain to any number of elements regarding your stay with us here at The Lake House Recovery Center.  We have compiled a list below of the most frequently asked questions among new clients and their families.  If a question you have is not addressed below, please contact our staff at anytime and we will promptly provide you with the information needed


What Treatment Length are Offered?

The Lake House Recovery Center offers a variety of treatment program options, the most common of which are the 30, 60 and 90 day residential rehab services.  All programs take place at our primary Thousand Oaks, California location.

Does The Lake House have any other locations?

All of our primary clinical treatment services are located in Ventura County, CA (Thousand Oaks & Westlake Village) however, we do network with a variety of highly regarded private treatment providers for specialty services through Southern California.  We utilize each of these services on an as-needed basis as it pertains to the client’s individual needs.

What types of addictions do we treat?

We offer integrative and highly successful inpatient & outpatient treatment services for all chemical addictions.  This includes alcohol, street drugs, pharmaceuticals, pain killers, etc.  We also offer additional mental health recovery for those with dual-diagnosis/co-occurring disorders such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADD, etc.

Does the Lake House accept my insurance?

The Lake House Recovery Center works with a variety of regional and national health insurance providers.  We are more than happy to contact your insurance provider and will take care of all the details while you focus on more important things.  To start this process simply fill out our online insurance verification form and we’ll get to work on it right away!

What if I’m already taking prescribed medication prior to my arrival here?

The presence of medication within a client’s recovery plan can make all the difference in the world, when managed appropriately and as prescribed.  Upon receiving verification from the prescribing physician, our medical staff will work accordingly to best integrate it within the client’s treatment.  During the client’s stay here it may be found that more effective medications exist, which will be addressed collectively among and medical/clinical staff.

What types of enhanced private services are offered for those with added needs?

Our network of clinical, executive, holistic and coaching services is extremely broad.  Our strong presence within the Southern California region enables the Lake House Staff to provide optimal ancillary services on a per-client basis for virtually any given scenario!  Moreover, these services are provided nationwide and even worldwide in certain instances.
