Frequently Asked Questions
What treatment lengths are offered?
The Recovery Advocates Outpatient Services program offers a variety of treatment program options, the most common of which are 30+ hours per week, 15 hours per week, and 3-9 hours per week. These different tracks are dependent upon your length of time sober, individual needs, and assessments by our medical and clinical staff. All programs take place at our primary Westlake Village, California location.
Do I have to leave my job, or move away from home to start attending IOP?
No, Intensive Outpatient is just that, provided on an outpatient basis. You can still attend work, and come to our program in the evening, or come during the day while your kids are at school and get home in time to pick them up from school. We offer many different tracks that are custom fit to your needs.
What types of addictions do we treat?
We offer integrative and highly successful outpatient treatment services for all chemical addictions. This includes alcohol, benzodiazepines, opiates, prescription medications, designer drugs, methamphetamine and marijuana. We also offer additional mental health recovery for those with co-occurring disorders such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADD, etc.
Does the Lakehouse accept my insurance?
The Lakehouse Outpatient Services, Recovery Advocates, works with a variety of regional and national health insurance providers accepting OON benefits. We are more than happy to contact your insurance provider and will take care of all the details while you focus on more important things. To start this process simply fill out our
online insurance verification form and we’ll get to work on it right away!
What if I’m already taking prescribed medication prior to my arrival here?
Upon your intake assessment with our medical and clinical staff, any and all medications will be evaluated as to dosage and need. Because many symptoms of other diagnoses mimic substance abuse disorders (i.e. anxiety, depression, etc.) we want to make sure that you are getting the best possible current diagnosis and treatment. If medications seem needed, they will be integrated into your treatment program, and up to you to maintain dosages that are in accordance with doctor’s orders. Our drug screenings go by amount present in system, so they will show us whether or not you have been abusing any medications.
