The Lakehouse Recovery Center is currently an out-of-network provider (PPO) working with many of the nation’s most highly respected health insurance plans.  In doing this we are able to provide those seeking our unique, substance abuse treatment services with an affordable alternative to many of Southern California’s high-priced drug rehab centers.

With respect to areas like Ventura County, Thousand Oaks and the San Fernando Valley, many treatment facilities will opt not to accept any type of health insurance plans and simply focus on working with private-pay individuals.  Our belief however, hinges on the importance of working with as many health insurance plans as possible in order to best ensure we keep our recovery services as affordable as possible!  In many cases we are able to speak with the carrier and arrange some type of agreement that minimize out of pocket costs.

What Health Insurance Plans Do We Take?

Health-Insurance - Recovery Advocates USA

While there are many different types of plans available and each is handled on an individual basis, the companies we most commonly tend to work with are: Blue Cross (Anthem), Magellan, Aetna, Cigna, United Behavioral Healthcare, Health Net, Primera Blue Cross and a few others. Unfortunately Kaiser and Medicare/MediCal policies do not support in-patient services for substance abuse. Please contact your insurance provider for details.

The Lakehouse Recovery Center has staff on-hand 7 days a week in order to immediately begin processing health insurance authorization.

"After thirty-six years in recovery and twenty years in addiction treatment, I am now solely focused on providing personal, 1-on-1 recovery management services to those in need. When I most needed it someone reached out and took my hand and help save my life. Ever since I have dedicated myself to returning that kindness. When I was in dire straits many years ago with an addiction to drugs and alcohol, all I wanted to do was STOP! With the support of skilled clinicians and generous men and women in the recovery community I was not only able to stop, but discovered that I was becoming a better man, a better husband, better father, better colleague, better neighbor, and a better human being. I also found that the key to my happiness is found in service to others. I have dedicated my life to this task and have been gifted with the opportunity to direct others to the discovery of that better life."
