What is Neurofeedback and what can it help?
Neurofeedback is a form of biofeedback in which subjects respond to a display of their own brain waves or other electrical activity of the nervous system. Biofeedback is a process whereby electronic monitoring of a normally automatic bodily function is used to train someone to acquire voluntary control of that function. Absolutely nothing goes into the brain. Instead, sensors are put on the scalp to pick up electrical activity coming from your brain creating your own feedback.
A thorough assessment is done on each individual to create a custom protocol for the person’s specific needs.
Neurofeedback is a scientifically proven way to improve the way you react, feel and function by improving the way your brain operates and can help with ADD, ADHD, Addiction Recovery, Anxiety, Autism, Some Auto Immune Symptoms, Aspergers, Brain Injuries, Chronic Pain, Communication, Depression, Fears, Phobias, Fibromyalgia, Headaches, Migraines, Insomnia, Meditation, Peak Performance, PTSD, Stress, Stroke Recovery, Tantrums, Trauma and more.
It is a noninvasive, organic process that does not change who you are. It is still you, just you in a better mood or with an increase in confidence, focus and performance. Neurofeedback is an alternative to medication for most issues that stem from the brain, a journey to the possible and your potential.
